The City Development Agency East Sarajevo (RAIS) is a development agency with non-profit character with the aim of promotion, presentation, coordination, planning and performance of development activities at the territory of the city of East Sarajevo.

...to create a positive business environment and to improve general socio-economic situation at the territory of the city, through the cooperation with local public, private and nongovernmental sector, and also with international organizations, achieving equal economic development of all six municipalities within the city of East Sarajevo.

RAIS is an instrument for the creation of a development network at the territory of the city of East Sarajevo by means of which the particular needs of every of the six municipalities, their interconnectivity and the projects of importance for the city as a whole are identified. .
Investment
The aim of the Agency is also to present actively the information about unused industrial capacities and natural resources, subventions of local authorities, international donors, EU funds and other funding options, company registration procedures etc.
Education and Human Resources
The aim of the Agency is also to present actively the information about organization of vocational seminars, workshops, etc.
City Development
RAIS deals with the presentation and promotion of the economic potentials of the city, preparation and making of development projects, and application for funds necessary for their implementation. RAIS and the municipal departments for economy and social activities are the key participants in making and implementing of economic development strategies at a local level.
